The vocal journey continues…

It’s 31 years later from my start in NYC as a YAP at The Metropolitan Opera and here I sit again, back in NYC looking out the window on Broadway, this time singing the right stuff as a Contralto. I’m still in the game. My journey has been long but I have stayed in the game even with life pauses – re-building my life and… I’m HERE.

Keep going. Never quit. Each day is a step in the right direction. It’s a Mount Everest climb I’ve been on….

It’s your voice, your journey, and has nothing to do with anyone else. It never has.

For me – it’s between me and God and nobody else. I feel grateful to sing at Merkin tonight in the right avenue for me. To sing a God-given talent that I have been given that I am finally deeply in touch with – this is a pinnacle in this life.

If you think that it’s too late for you or your voice, see my past blog article “It’s never too late to work on your voice”.

Thank you to The MET for all they have done for me, Craig Rutenberg, Randall Fusco, Mark Oswald and James Musacchio. Thank you Stefania de Kenessey for your friendship and great music! (See http://www.stefaniadekenessey.com/) Thanks also to Roger Malouf!

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by me.

Love,
